So, what better way to wind down for the weekend, but still continue your GCSE science journey, with puzzles based on the Periodic Table.

The Periodic Table is a key element (ha ha, get it?) to GCSE chemistry success. BUT, you don't need to know it by heart because, as with most science concepts, it is the ability to use it correctly that they are assessing. This is why with every GCSE chemistry exam, you will recieve a copy of it.

So grab your copy of the Periodic Table. If you can't find one, here's one for you...

... and have a go at these fun puzzles. The first one is simply identifying the name of the element from the symbol. Have a go at seeing how many you can identify without the use of a copy of the Periodic Table first and then fill in the gaps.

The next two involve you knowing how to use the Periodic Table correctly and recalling information about some elements. If you need to, refer to your school/study notes, or search the internet. It is all good practise.
