GCSE Chemistry Paper Chromatography Booster Tutor.

A GCSE core practical you can do at home to make GCSE revision fun.

May 18, 2021

Here's a simple GCSE science core practical you can do at home. All you need are felt tip pens, filter paper (coffee filters are perfect), water and a small glass jar or cup.

If you can identify the process using these keywords; pure and impure substances, solvent, stationary phase, mobile phase, chromatogram and Rf value then you're ready to assess yourself with a GCSE exam question.

If you need a little help, below is the section on paper chromatography in one of the combiclassroom  chemistry exam revision booklets.

Check your understanding with the GCSE chemistry exam question below.

Try and make your home studies and revision more relevant and fun.
